I'm still enjoying the heck out of my RS model and hope to make some sort of youtube-demo if time allows pretty soon.....

This is a one versatile Elliott Mosrite with a Fender 'twisty spanky twang to it' kind of guitar. I'm now even more convinced that the whole RS line should go for a compensated bridge option only - it rocks! This guitar has more sustain than I've ever tried with other Mosrites and would without doubt appeal to Fender Jazzmaster and Gibson SG players players looking for an alternate sound. It takes pedals very well too and due to the pups high output it 'digs' well into the effects. For instance my amp tremolo sounded fuller than before. Classic Mosrite with a twist!

I for one would love to see/hear a demo of the guitar!

I agree on the compensated bridge - it increases attack and sustain.

Is Ed still in Europe or did he head home? How was his trip?

Hello Everyone,

what a beautiful place!!Great people! I can't thank Lars and Karen Hansen
(AKA Mr.& Mrs."El Twang")enough for there kind hospitallty, showing me
around, treating me to Danish home cooking and putting up with me for a week, it was good, good fun!
Also, I want to thank my good friend Reber Stein up there in
Sitka, Alaska for making this whole trip possible, Thanks Reber!!

As for as the E.F.Elliott RS Standard "Silver Surfer"guitar
I think it was received quite well in Denmark from Guitar dealers
and musicians a like. We're taking orders, call me.

Thanks for the Support!

 good one, Veenture.

It was such a great experience for me to learn how much Ed still is into the whole Mosrite history, the stories, guitarbuilding, improving his design etc. after all these years. This man is 'living guitars', folks!

El Ray has gigs coming up in June and I'll keep you posted with some volcanobursted shoots.
