Gee; that guitar is just a stunner. I've used a closeup of its body as my home MacBook's desktop image for months.

I just never get tired of looking at it.

What a gorgeous piece of work that is!

We could mask the guitar for placement in a picture of your Vox, but I'm afraid it wouldn't look natural. I suggest shipping the amp here for an extended photo shoot of several months. 8-)

A few notes about this E.F.Elliott RS Legend guitar. Set-neck with adjustable bridge and string mute, all hand-shaped hardware (except tuners). Amazing wood selection and finish. Signed and dated by the maker. Serial no. RSL0001.

I'll post some more pics aftter I find the battery charger for my other camera. Be ready to see the amazing craftsmanship that goes into the bridge.

Wow! That's a beautiful guitar! Very nice composition in the photo, to boot.

Excellent photo, Handbrake. Mr. Elliott should use it on the website. Very cool looking guitar as well. Nice to see what is probably the closest thing to a descendant from the Mosrites of old (20th Century  ). I could see Semie himself making these.
El Ray, your silver surfer twang machine is incredible. Tell us about it, now that you've played gigs, etc.! Did you play it at Surfer Joe?
I look forward to seeing more of Mr. Elliott's artistry.

I wonder if one could be made with a coil tapping humbucker in the bridge position....

In a word, yes.

But don't wait for him to build it on his own. You'll have to place your order, and be ready to choose your color.

El Twang did play his special RS Standard onstage at Surfer Joe. He sent me a brief note yesterday before trying to get some well-deserved rest. He said their show went VERY well and they received great reviews from attendees. I'm also looking forward to more news and pictures of this watershed El Ray event!

Yeah, I've recovered now. These 4 days in Livorno has been absolutely amazing. It's crazy to attend a festival and sort of 'know' many people that you've never met in real life before. All of a sudden you're chatting, drinking and listening to tons of superb music together with many fellow online-nerds. That was a lot of fun! I mean what else can a nerd with reverb and twang in his blood ask for?

Regarding the RS. I played it through a Fender Twin Reverb reissue. I love the vintage ones but I think the new ones really suck and it took me a couple of songs to tame the shrill. But it was a pretty big stage and all bands sounded great when standing within the audience and I hope the RS did too ;-).

Here a pic of the RS in action from Saturday night.
