......and it sounds and plays great. rub rub.;)

I would like to have done a sunburst finish on the neck and headstock but there is no binding on the sides of the neck, it would not have blended right without binding. :(

What a great-looking guitar!!!

And Danny, your yard looks wonderful, too!

We are all a lucky bunch, aren't we?

Wow Danny, the finish really comes alive in the sunlight. I hope you took some time to strum a few chords and sip on some brandy in the gazebo.

I still wonder what the heck the story is on that neck, it's wider than any Mosrite neck I've ever seen. I wonder what model it was actually intended for. While it would be nice if it were bound, I think the plainer look adds to the stripped down hot-rod feel of the guitar.

This week I had the chance to get down to Bakersfield and pick up my Partsrite from Danny. As cool as the pictures are, it looks even better in person. More impressive is the feel; it just feels "finished" in a way it hadn't before. Danny cleaned up the neck profile and the frets and it plays like a dream. I've said it before and I'll say it again - thank you Danny!

So, we have some nice sunny weather today and it seemed like a fine time for a family photo. From the left, the Partsrite, the Meshugga-Mark, Ellison Custom double neck, and '66 Ventures model. Now I better go practice so I can play at a competence level these beautiful guitars deserve!
