I bought my Filmore Mosrite from Ed back in 2002. My only complaint about the guitar was the flimsy vibrato bar. It was cheap pot metal, that constantly needed retightening. I was able to purchase a beefier version from Hallmark. Its the one they're putting on their 60s Custom. All is well now. BTW, I've been in japan for a month now & still haven't seen any knock-offs. I'll keep you posted.

I got the following email and photgraphs from Artie this evening to pass on to the forum.

"Hey Danny !
I thought you might like to post these on the forum.I'll try to get some more if you want.
Dana is doing the assembly for these Mosrite of USA models (for the Japanese market) at the store.
Not to be confused with the Mosrite of Original for the U.S. market.
Stop by if you want and check em out before they go back to Japan.
Artie"

Thanks Danny and Artie: I have a few questions for Artie:

1) What's difference between this one (for Japanese market) and Mosrite Original (for US market)? Do they use the same parts?

2) What type of assembling? pickups or guitar parts too?

3) Are Japanese models available for US buyers too? What's the price?

Thanks
Vincent

Danny,
May I add to Vincent's questions:
4. How much are the Front Porch Music T-shirts and what colors do they come in.

I AM a customer. Back in the mid-nineties I bought a Sanner Fuzzrite from Artie--mail order!

May I add yet one more question:

Will parts be available for those of us restoring Mosrites? Pickups? Bridges? Vibratos? String guides?

All questions grouped together.....
1) What's difference between this one (for Japanese market) and Mosrite Original (for US market)? Do they use the same parts?
2) What type of assembling? pickups or guitar parts too?
3) Are Japanese models available for US buyers too? What's the price?
4. How much are the Front Porch Music T-shirts and what colors do they come in.
5) Will parts be available for those of us restoring Mosrites? Pickups? Bridges? Vibratos? String guides?
6) In reference to Vincent's question (#1), is the Japanese hardware still Metric and the U.S. hardware still Standard? Another words, if someone should need a part, they will know the correct fitting for their guitar when they place the order.....

You can add to the list - Is there any marketing plan, a website being planned, or some vehicle to make ordering guitars, parts, etc., more accessible for those of us who are far from CA.

Danny,
The best bet is to give Front Porch a call. It's how I bought my Fuzzrite and the service was prompt.
