Nice looking group of 'bursts! Did you get a special decal for the Meshugga-mark - or is that silk-screened on there?

Ha! Good eyes Dennis. It's actually a graphic printed on regular printer paper that's held on to the headstock by the tuner ferrules and a bit of scrap-booking photo glue. I'm researching having a vinyl cut decal made, but for the moment this will do. We had a high profile gig a few weeks ago where we weren't using our own drums so we didn't have our customary (traditional?) drum head logo. I wanted there to be something with the band name on stage as there were TV cameras there and this was the most expedient way to do it.

It actually looks pretty good from a distance, but up close you can see it for what it is:

What? Couldn't tell the logo is a link? So click here, what's the hold up? http://www.meshuggabeachparty.com

More impressive is the feel; it just feels "finished" in a way it hadn't before. Danny cleaned up the neck profile and the frets and it plays like a dream. I've said it before and I'll say it again - thank you Danny!

So, we have some nice sunny weather today and it seemed like a fine time for a family photo. From the left, the Partsrite, the Meshugga-Mark, Ellison Custom double neck, and '66 Ventures model. Now I better go practice so I can play at a competence level these beautiful guitars deserve!

The guitar to the far right looks kinda funny without 3 pickups

Hey Mel,

Great looking lineup and that Meshugga headstock certainly looks appropriate however I hope you don't change the logo on the doublneck. ;) What happened to the mistake plate cover?

Don't worry, the double neck headstocks stay as is. I took the mistake plate off because the burst just looks so cool and the vibrato fit is so tight there really is no mistake to be hidden.

As for the Ventures model, well, I'm still averaging 2.2 pickups per neck, so it gets a pass. :)

cool paint job danny! you really nailed that semie sunburst. I find doing a sunburst so fun to do, but I still haven't had a chance to do one like this...yet. :D Danny, how many coats of clear did you use? seems like to me semie always put a heavy amount of clear on his guitars.
Cheers,
Aaron
