Dana said Ed Roman is still selling Mosrites but is only a selling merchant and not a distributor.

I wonder if Ed Roman is going to also assemble the fillmore mosrites at his shop?

I need a 'definition difference' between a 'merchant' and a 'distributor.' I know what the difference is,
but this is not making any sense to me whatsoever with Roman ..........

A distributor is one that receives merchandise direct from the manufacture and sells to retail/resale merchants. Ed Roman is a retail merchant. He use to assemble the USA Mosrites and send them back to Fillmore for the Asian market. Dana now has that contract with Fillmore, so Roman will now only be selling Mosrites as a retailer. The is the same status as Front Porch Music. Right now Fillmore does not have a contract with a distributor in the US and is only shipping to retail merchants. That is why the prices are so high. Ordering from Japan, paying the duties and shipping really jacks up the price.

.... my mistake....I kept saying to myself, Ed doesn't distribute in the U.S. Market, but I TOTALLY

I spoke w/ Artie yesterday. He said he'll be getting in 6 Mosrites in the next couple weeks. He will have a website http://www.frontporchmusic.net. He also said he'll post pics in this forum when they come in.
