I've heard / read over and over about how the Japanese Mosrites can no longer display The Ventures logo—in fact I scored a recent Japanese catalogue and there was nary a Ventures logo anywhere to be found—but it's still on all the Excellent series guitars available in Australia.
I've bought two brand new and one used in the last two years and they all have the band's name on the headstock.
Are they slipping through the cracks somehow or are the reports greatly exaggerated?

Maybe you should become the unofficial Kurokumo distributor for the US - take orders here, buy the guitars, and ship them to the Excellent starved American masses!
