Question on Mostire clones.

Postby ImNotJohnnyRamone » Sun Nov 15, 2009 10:59 am

Ive been asking my parents for a Johnny Ramone style guitar since last year. I just wanted to know what you guys think is the best clone out there today. Ive been looking at the Eastwood JR Elite and the Hallmark Road to Ruin. Any others out there?

The Hallmark is going to be the best one, Eastwood's isn't that good unless you modify it.

3) Stereo 350
4) Hallmark II in Johnny Blue
5) Danelectro '66
6) Celebrity III

You guys might want to check out the Ramones models at Front Porch Music. They are Fillmore. Do not know the price, but give them a call.
Between the Fillmore Mosrites and the Hallmark models, there is a range of options and prices.

Besides the price, what are the differences? Are Aritie's a Ramones model or are they just white & blue Mark II models or what?

Are they that white & red on in the catalog on their website?

Not being an expert on the Fillmore product line, I'd go straight to the horse's mouth by calling Front Porch Music at this number:
(800) 900-2 jam

Be sure to tell 'em you are a member on this forum ;)
