Hello All,

Last week Nov 7&8 there was a nice guitar show
just outside of Philidelphia, in King of Prussia Pa.

I saw 3 original mosrites, 1 Ventures Model{pic}
1 Dillion, 2 eastwood but sadly no Hallmark.
Plenty of other nice stuff too I would have more
photos but my camera got damaaged.

Cheers.

People who buy Hallmarks tend to not let them go - Don't see a lot of secondary market Hallmarks, even on eBay, and when you do, they're going for premium prices compared to new ones. Amazing ... Speaks well of those guitars.

Ah, That blue Mark V sure is pretty. Too bad it isn't in Pittsburgh's guitar store Pianos n Stuff so I can play it. I would have been at the show if it was local but who wants to take a trip to where I live? (And no, I'm not in or near Pittsburgh) :lol:

Another table had a black Ventures model and a blue one without "the Ventures" logo (or was it the other way around?). They also had a 6/12 double neck. I played the 2 six strings but they were set up so badly that it was crying shame. Of course that made me love the Hallmark even more. Didn't even want to try the double neck at that point. I would have been there forever getting in tune.

Seriously, if you are going to ask for over $4k for a guitar at least have it professionaly set up so it is at its optimum performance wise. If I was not an educated and experienced player I would have thought Mosrite was synonomous with "crap". They were that bad.
