Hi,
I have tried to get this information on the forum but I'm not sure of some answers I found, sorry if this is redundant.
I have found a second hand Mosrite on a japanese website and would like to know if it is a good deal. It's a recent 65 Mark I sold for around $1700. Great condition, original hard case, certificate. However the headstock says Mosrite of USA and not Mosrite of California. They tell me it was Made in the USA and has a serial number like ASnnnn. Is it likely to be a Fillmore guitar? Was it really made in the USA or just assembled? What is really the difference between a Fillmore "Of USA" and a "Of California"?
I was just wondering ...
Thanks for your help,
Didier.

Re: Mosrite of USA / Mosrite of California
Yes, "of USA" means Fillmore. Certificate of authenticity also, for the most part, means Fillmore.
