Help! Firstman price range

Postby agiant » Mon May 20, 2013 2:56 pm

I am thinking about buying this guitar, the owner says that it's a Firstman Mark I from late 60s or early 70s.

I'd like to know the price range of these models. I don't want to be fooled.

If you don't want to post prices in public, please PM me. I need to know!

Thanks in advance!

No one?

Well, I closed the deal. I hope that the price I got is reasonable.

This is my first mosrite :_)

They usually land at about 7 to 900.00 depending on condition. I hope you got a good deal!

It's a little more expensive, but Mosrites are very hard to find in Europe.
In addition, guitars are more expensive here in general.

Thanks Bob.

Congratulations! That's a nice looking guitar.

Amazingly the Firstman Mosrites have jumped in price over the past year or so bringing more like $1200+ in nice clean condition especially with the Ventures logo on the headstock.

I bought and sold mine for 1600, it looked just like that, with a case too.

I never though I'd buy a vintage Mosrite (even a japanese clone). This is a dream coming true. Mosrites are my favorite guitars since I discovered Man or Astroman's Experiment Zero in the 90s.

Next week I'll have the surf trinity: Jazzmaster, Yamaha sgv, and Mosrite.
I can't believe it! ;)

Thanks for the responses!

Well, that's exactly the same reason I'm hooked on Mosrites/Hallmarks. Cheers mate!
