Here's a couple more from my photo collection for visual reference. I didn't log what year they were made.

I understand that the Bass Player of this group had LOTS of Basses and usually would modify or
Customize His Basses to look different from the Standard Production Run.
Who was the name of this Band.......

The OVERSIZED "the Ventures" Logo on the Headstock indicates to me that this ia probaly a
'63 to an early '64 Model. John refinned it White and had installed Rickenbacker P'ups on it.............
Go figure......

WOAH!!!! Danny! that white bass looks just like CJ Ramones bass that semie made for him. But I believe CJ's was a single pickup version. thats the only the second bass I've ever seen with the mosley style bridge plate.

One side note: have you guys noticed that the Mosrite bass body looks like it's stretched out a little from the guitar version, or is it just me? Does anyone know the exact reason why? my guess would be for weight distribution of the larger bass, then again, maybe it's just cuz it looked cool. :?: :?: :?: :?: :geek:

Dana made now the CJ Bass with a big Ramone sticker on it. Special Serie.
I saw them in Frankfurt, I will send you some pictures when I took them out of my phone...
I don't think that it was "show", but Dana gave CJ the first one there.
