ok,another tele-Master!
I think the -best-guitar player play a Tele this way-like Danny Gatton or J.Donnahue,or many others country oriented players, you can easily understand how good they are ,a tons of notes-bending-notes.
Telecaster -Masters are the best to me as knowledge of the instrument, sometimes they are too much, but Greats!!!
Bruno  :o :o

Hey Bruno, that's interesting you mentioning Danny Gatton, who's name also came to my mind :P
The comparison is there; both excellent lightning-fast players and relatively unknown! (I even thought that this Teleplayer from Ohio was perhaps a one-time student of Danny Gatton )

Doug has begun putting out instructional DVDs on his website (I'll have to get it and post it) - he does it because he loves to do it, and the DVDS are very inexpensive, and great learning tools. He breaks licks down fairly well, and provides downloads and tabs. As far as I know, he never knew Gatton, but he sure has his (and many other) style down ...

He sure can fly on that Telly. Very impressive. I have read however that hot licks and all out blazing speed is done to impress other guitar players. It doesn't do anything for the average listener. He did get all of our attention didn't he and we all play guitar. Oh ya the person that said that you may have heard of. "Chet Atkins"
