Screen Names

Postby KRamone27 » Tue Jun 16, 2009 12:07 pm

What is the meaning behind your screen names? I'm a huge Ramones and Riverdales fan so that's where most of it starts. My friends called me Kevin Ramone at one point and the 27 is from a Riverdales logo. Hence KRamone27

64sunburst refers to my '64 Strat. It's the only vintage guitar I own. Bought for $250 in 1978 :o . I wish I had bought a '64 Mosrite too!

MINE IS EASY... BUT IF I HAD USED A SCREEN NAME IT WOULD BE..."LOWBALLZ"
MY BROTHERS & I WERE ALWAYS KNOWN AS "LOWBALLZ"
SO WHEN MY SISTER FOLLOWED BEHIND US AT SCHOOL, SHE WAS QUICKLY KNOWN
AS "NO-BALLZ"

My surname is VAN DER VEEN and since I’m a big VENTURES fan, a friend once called me "VEENTURE". I thought it fitting to use on the Mosrite Forum because of the Ventures' strong link with Mosrite… (which in turn led me to Hallmark Guitars and consequently to The Mosrite Forum) :P

I also race in a nascar online game and have for many years. My name there is also sleeperNY for laying back and trying to make my move later kind of like a sleeper. I have just keep using that name where ever I go online now.

Ah, (d)uane ellison... I have never been much of a "handle" person and generally just use my name on forums and web sites.

Good thread though, it's always neat to hear how people come up with the interesting screen names.
