story time:
A while back KRamone27 related to us of his misfortune when a storm had hit his house damaging it and Zarfnober was telling not so long ago of how he ‘hit’ the front page with his car (how’s the house Kevin? Cheers Rocco, you came out shining!)
My little incident this morning pales in significance but I thought I’d tell my ‘family members’ about it anyhow and it also helps me to write it off my chest…
-Not my intention to start a lengthy thread about a small incident but here’s what happened to me this morning.
As I was walking my Dino (labrador dog) I came across another dog owner who’s American-Bulldog/Staffordshire-type dog was just proceeding to drop his poop on the lawn, smack in the middle of a public square.
Could be embarrassing for it’s owner perhaps…but it’s no big deal as this is known to happen sometimes heh heh… and the solution is at hand; simply take out that plastic bag you’re always carrying on you... problem solved, period.
Nooooooo such thing with this individual!
I could hear him grumbling loudly from a distance and as I passed him by he shouted at me in a highly sarcastic but also in a very taunting aggressive manner “did you get a good enough look at how I’m cleaning it up?”
What the f…??? …but I decided to ignore him and just keep on walking… It has been said that wisdom comes with age but to tell the truth, in my assessment of him I saw a possible dangerous person, not to tangle with. I did not want to add to the statistics of the many knife incidents in my country. Believe me, people have short fuses these days and violence, aggressive behaviour etc. is rampant in the bigger cities in Holland, especially in the area where I live, close to Amsterdam(ned) …and the shameful irony is that authorities are claiming that it is on the decline!!!!…(NOT).
Back to the story.
My suspicions about the man were justified and confirmed as I felt something hit the back of my jacket…but I’ll be quick to say that it was ‘only’ dog poop!
Just as I was turning around to see what had struck me I saw the sicko-coward walk away rather hurriedly, cussing all the time and making fist punching actions against a drainpipe and an apartment window, jeez.
What do you do?
I went into amateur detective mode and followed him at a safe distance just to see where he was living and reported the incident to the police –if only for the record.
Yes, I was at the wrong place at the wrong time but luckily not during a violent bank robbery, so only my pride was hurt and my jacket can be dry-cleaned …but Sicko got it all over his own hands…his own dog’s dogshit… LOL

Monkeys have been know to throw Poopies.
The story makes me more concerned for the dogs well being. An individual that angry and especially under the circumstances can direct all of their frustrations at the easiest and most vulnerable animal or person.
I have a two bag minimum when I take Luna for a stroll. [(F) Sheppard/Chow]
Even though they are both meant for her I honestly cannot remeber how many times I have passed the bag when their pup has passed the poop.
Like the others.... Happy you're Safe.

Wow, that's shocking! Though I do sense the foundation for a blues song - "I took my dog for a walk, crazy man threw poop at me. Now my jacket's all smelly, I've got the stinking dog poo blues..."

That's the spirit, let the dust settle and do your best to make lemonade out of dog poo!
A story of restraint that could have had a very distubing ending, Veenture. Good for you that you did your homework regarding the report. I think we all suffer periodic indignations (I know I do), but we shouldn't get hung up on them. Adults realize things rarely seem the same 24-48 hours later.

With people like that you gotta wonder what their story is.
It just confirms my belief that the human race is heading on a downward slide and there's nothing in the way to stop it.

Re: Sticks and stones, and…
Today at work I got really mad, like so MADD. Not knowing what to do with myself to calm down or feel better about things, I tried an experiment
I thought
this is so crazy that it just might work.... So I threw some poop with my bare hands.
You Know what? IT DIDN'T MAKE ME FEEL ANY BETTER, IT JUST MADE ME EVEN MORE MADD AND THEN I WAS MAD AND SMELLED WORSE THAN I WAS MAADD!
For real guy's throwing poopies don't attract the Groupies.

I thought

Wow, that's really amazing... What in the world is wrong with people today... One of the many reasons why I like living in the middle of nowhere away from people...
