Re: Hi.
It's very late (or early if you will) where I live but I got stuck reading this forum again. I guess I probably should post pics of my guitars or something. And maybe tell something about myself.
I live in Finland and I play the guitar in a punk rock group called the Marones though everyone who knows us call us the Morons. Who knows why? I am obsessed with the slab body Mosrite Ventures II model and if I ever get to own one, I could die right then and there. I would be so happy. So if you hear or see any SLAB Ventures IIs for sale or if you wanna yours, lemme know. Please.
Here's me. Here's me and our bassist testing some shiznits.
Latest addition to the family. Note: non-original pups. Made by Tym Guitars. (And yes I know the pickup holes are too big some idiot lackey at the guitar shop made them too big in a rush. He's fixing it right now. I hope at least.) I will probably be changing its body and tailpiece soon. Tailpiece is going to be a folded steel trem like on originals and body is going to be lighter and blue. Don't know for sure yet. Anyway, here's an unrefined sample of its roar.
My first guitar which I love dearly. #226
Other guitaring equipment:
Marshall 120W 4x12 Bass & Lead cab from 1970s, prod. number 1982 I think. It's the 1960 high power model.
Marshall JMP 100W Super Lead
Oh and please do not use the email address I used to register here, I DO NOT USE IT ANYMORE. I couldnt reg with my real gmail account so I had to use that old POS. I currently use marone.johnny@gmail.com
This forum looks like just the place for me.
