There you go, My problem exactly. I didn't look at the bass side and I saw no german carve on the treble side because there isn't one. By the way, I saw that Ed Roman has one in stock. I don't see a price though. Here's a link.

in person it was a great guitar i think the pictures don't do "great in person justice" or maybe i was overwhelmed after playing the excellent (that i purchased)

Ed Roman's super discounted price is $2795. For that price you could book yourself a nice vacation to Japan, pick up a Gospel, save a couple bucks and have a much more enjoyable time than a phone call with Ed Roman.

$2700!! WOW thats crazy prices!! especially since in USD the guitar in tokyo was about $1000ish USD (98000Y)

They are only $1000 in Japan? Man, I need to go visit some time. What else do they have over there? I know it is THE place for Mosrite guitars but what other reissues of obscure Mosrite guitars do they have? Are there any Celebrity, Combo, Bluesbender, 350, M88, V88 or Brass Rail reissues?

Oh and if I ever do visit I'm going by boat, Planes are too dangerous. I might go to Tym's store in Australia while I'm relatively close.

I know he is wanting to make some more custom guitars.... i would love to order a wilshire/mkII merged guitar... but no money to spend :-(
