1993 Mosrite Mini Combo

Postby dorkrockrecords » Sat Aug 29, 2009 11:35 pm

Well, I had only ever seen crummy black and white photos of this model, but since I just stumbled across one crummy color photo of said guitar - for your viewing pleasure, the elusive Mosrite Mini Combo:

Cool. Looks like a Ventures decal on the headstock.

...maybe a bit less 'crummy'.
I merely adjusted the contrast through my "Windows Paint" application; compare now with the Jazz Bass hanging on the wall (for colour reference).
Looks like there's a signature too...on the Mini Combo's body.

There isn't much room between the bridge and Vibramute. Is that normal? Interesting guitar though. :)

The bridge posts screw into the base plate of the Vibramute ...
So many guitars; So little time ..

Okay. I've looked at a lot more Celebrity's in detail than I have the solid bodied models. Thanks!

Is a mini in that the body is not as thick?

Uhm, no. Not at all (if by "thick" you mean body depth). Take a look at the Mini next to one of the standard Combos and you will see that it looks downright emaciated by comparison.

Another words, the Body itself is smaller in size as compared to an original Combo..
make the Mos' of it, choose the 'rite stuff.
