This came up in another thread, so I figured I start a thread of it's own because it sounds fun. Hopefully soon I'll be getting my Sheena Model Hallmark. What should be the first Ramones song played on it? One member already suggested Beat on the Brat...great selection. The Ramones have, imo, the greatest catalog of pop/punk/rock & roll songs on the planet. I'll leave it up to the class to decide for me...I'm trusting you guys, don't let me down. I'll probably do a couple or three w/ a good 1 2 3 4 in between. So far I'm leaning toward either Rock Away Beach or Today Your Love, Tomorrow the World. These songs have more than 3 chords, so it'll be good songs. I'll be playing & singing (well, sorta singing) the songs.
So, lemme know whatcha think ya'll.
Thanks,
GunTotingSkatePunk (Ramones fan since 1981)

Well that's easy if you think about it! Sheena! On the other hand Blitzkrieg Bop would be right in the pocket too.

I agree with Bob, Sheena is a punk guitar.

I'd be debating over Blitzkrieg Bop or Rockaway Beach.

I vote for Somebody Put Something in My Drink, One of my favorites. Would you take votes in this post for non Ramones songs, too?

come on dude, there's really not a bad ramones song, all of them are great, but it has to be Blitzkrieg Bop. Just make sure you turn the marshall up all the way and pound the heck out of that mofo!!!! all down strokes too, don't wimp out and do upstrokes
And if you have a RAMONES pick laying around, it always helps.
next then play Sheena for Bob, hehe
