I found this on Youtube. The first five or six minutes is footage from Jonas Ridge in November 1988 and at the end there is a live performance with Semie singing and playing guitar. He surprised me too, I wasn't aware that he had such good guitar skills.
If anyone here posted the video and was going to make a topic about it, Sorry. I wanted to share it.

Re: Mosrite Factory 88 + Semie Live footage
Thanks, Austin. My Mom & Dad heard Semie minister, both preaching and singing in their church in East TN, back in 1969 while I was in basic training. They really liked him and he made such an impression on them they told me all about him. When I saw my Combo in the music store I remembered what they had told me and I bought the guitar. I'm sure glad I did.
Thanks again for sharing this video. I had no idea it existed & I hunt around You Tube quite a bit.

Wow, talk about "Mosrite in action"...Semie himself playing his own creation! That was wonderful and also hearing his talking voice was quite emotional. I reckon our guitar techies will also appreciate Semie's 'shop talk' here too
Thank you Austin.

Thank you Austin.

This is Mosrite heaven! I've always wanted to see some live footage of Semie and this is better than I could have hoped for. When you compare his facilities with that of Fender or Gibson I'm amazed he could put out such a quality product from such a humble workplace.
It all adds to the legend I guess.

Well, Austin, you just slammed one over the far fence on THAT post!!!
Absolutely astonishing. Any other similar videos are a must!
I'll be referring back to that again and again. I like that song at the end, too.
BOY HOWDY!

Glad to share. Hey, Check out the bridge on the bass at 7:23. It looks a little different from the bridges on most Mosrite basses I've seen.

How many of those were there, anyway? I haven't seen them very often.
