and I need to correct Johnny. the ventures 2 slab body did have a german carve, except it is invisible....yes semie was THAT good at making guitars.... ;) ;) ;) ;)

Not to get off topic or to hijack this thread but it's too bad that this happens. I think this a great place to share information and learn something new and it's too bad that others don't feel the same. What's the point of even joining a forum if you are not going to frequently read it.

Well, that is certainly strange. This is a very friendly and ULTRA-informative site.

The recurring catch-phrase from "O Brother Where Art Thou" of "Maybe they're looking for answers" to explain strange conduct certainly doesn't apply in this situation because the answers are certainly here.
