MOSRITE CUSTOM JM-65 Dbl BOUND AND MOSRITE AMP @ JONAS RIDGE

Postby EF@MosriteRecords » Wed Nov 11, 2009 6:02 pm

OK Dennis here is the AMP the last time I saw it before this trip, Semie had it down
in the OLD SHOPS. This photo was taken Cira 2006-7. I am in the living room at the
home there in JONAS RIDGE, NC. Loretta, Andy And my Husband Richard are on a
Couch to my left. You can see the Kitchen door center left of the picture.

The Guitar is A Custom JM-65 Double Bound. The Amp works fine. Yes I am looking
for the CLOCK.Image

Elaine,
WoW!!! It was so LONG ago!! I'm focusing on the picture, and if there was a sofa in that location almost 22 years ago,
my memory is telling me that the bedroom(s) location would be to the right of the sofa (or directly behind you in the Pic.
And on the upper right side of that wall leading to the bedroom(s) was where the Mosrite clock was hanging................

Dennis: The Piano is on the front wall as you come in the front door. The grey paneling
you see to the left of the white door leading in to the kitchen. That wall to the left
of the white door is the wall opposite the front door from outside. You can see just
a small area to the right of the white door. If you passed through the doorway there you would walk into the kitchen. Make a left and you would go into a bedroom.
See the TV set,! on the opposite wall across the room would lead into a bathroom and back rooms. You can just see the couch which is on the wall across from the front
door. EF

Elaine,
It was so long ago, but maybe I had mistaken the bathroom and backrooms as the bedrooms. If the sofa is in the same area as almost 22 years ago,
then that opposite wall across the room leading into the bathroom and back rooms would have to be where the Clock was hanging. All I recall
is that it was to my right side if you were sitting on the sofa, and again providing that the sofa is still in the same area as back in 1988 :| ............

DENNIS HERE IS A WIDER PICTURE OF THE LIVING ROOM AREA. YOU CAN SEE THE
FRONT LIVING ROOM WALL THE PIANO IS ON. DOES THIS HELP. STILL LOOKING FOR CLOCK. I DID NOT TAKE THESE PICTURES. TO BE SURE WE ARE TALKING ABOUT THE RIGHT WALL, ITS THE WALL WHERE THE PICTURE IS HANGING IN THE UPPER RIGHT
OF THIS PHOTO.

WE'RE HAVING FUN NOW. THE HUNT IS ON!

This one of the only a few photo's that Andy, Loretta and myself were in at the same time. It was a wet sort of light misty day all day.

WoW!! OK, the first pic with someone's knee made me think the sofa was facing a different direction. This PIC is a lot better in which it shows a little more of the sofa.
Elaine, in this PIC, whoever took this PIC, must be in the opening leading to the bathroom and backrooms. Another words, if you looked at the photographer while he
was taking the snapshot, that clock would be on THAT wall just to the right of him..... ;) .....

BTW, I had purchased that SAME EXACT case for my '66 J.M. 12/6 Doubleneck which I still have, but keeping the white lining clean is a bit of a challenge :D

Dennis you win the grand prize. That is absolutly correct you got it. In real time here, I am posting these as I find them. They somehow got mixed up in files they should
not have been. I am peddling fast as I can. We are just getting started. I want to also
post the entire photo's of the insides of the shop area's. I have at least photo's of each room. I took them one time when I was up there with that thought in mind. I knew
someday I would want a complete record of activity at Jonas Ridge. Semie actually
is in a lot of them. Same for the House and Basement. It may be easier at some point
to put them in Albums on Myspace. Also Dennis, Semie made sure as we all did to make
a complete photo record of every step on the construction of the big guitar. There are
well over 100-150 photo's. From the slection of the wood to drawings to all phases
of the hand and machine work sanding, routing, primer, painting, finish work etc. it's
all been recorded on film. EF
