Ah, So they are "Underwound". Thanks, Handbrake. I suppose it could vary from pickup to pickup, Too.

I finally heard from my friend with a Mark V, same scale length as Ventures II and Regular Ventures models. This is the only literature I've seen stating scale length. So, I stand corrected on this scale length discussion and any other topic where some bonehead named me said Mark V's were a short scale neck. Apparently, the neck going that much further into the body makes the scale seem shorter, to these hands anyway, the few I've played seemed much shorter scale.

So, did they ever make a short scale guitar?

There are some 3/4 models out there. ;)

Here's a link to a topic at Harmony Central where someone posted about his Mosrite 3/4 model. I'm not sure if all of the pictures will load properly but hey...

Yes, the Japanese companies have made all sorts of variations on the Mosrite theme including 3/4 and 1/2 scale instruments, but I really don't think those examples are germane to either Rocco's question or the discussion at hand.

Huh, I thought those 3/4 models were vintage. I guess I was wrong.

Austin,
2 dead giveaways are the V&T knobs with the small lip on them. Also, on the Trem
System and the Headstock, it just says Mosrite, there is no 'of California.' ;)
make the Mos' of it, choose the 'rite stuff.

MIJ would be Made in Japan, Austin. First line, tenth word of the link you posted. And even if you skipped the text altogether, nothing about that guitar says vintage.

Not all. The Terry model (c.1985) is the only Semie produced Mosrite that featured M knobs with no skirts whatsoever.
