Very cool...I love it when stuff like this turns up.

CNC, has it been refinished? The finish does not look like others Mosrite guitars I've seen from this era.

The logo on this guitar is consistent with others I've seen made around 1959-1961.

Who was your girlfriend's father? Was it Fuzzy Owen? I'm trying to think who owned recording studios in Bakersfield at that time.

Really cool, thanks for posting!

That is so cool! Where is the pickup? I see four little screws but I can't see the pickup. Is it under the pickguard?

...as Dennis said: "yep!" That is what I figured too and find that an especially cool feature.

Her father's name was Tony Wynn but he also went by Jerry Wynn.
And yes the pickups are under the pick guard.
To our knowledge this has never been refinished. It has been its original case since 1961. There are a few minor scratches from when her father played it many years ago but all in all its in great shape for being original.
Take care...

Thanks a lot for sharing, Looks like a sweet "Moselele"* ;) I like the finish too.

I didn't make "Moselele" Up, That credit goes to someone else. I'm not sure who made it up, I just saw a "Mosrite Moselele" on eBay in the last few months made by an unofficial builder. I still have pics of it that I downloaded.
