Hey Bob, the poet in you also shines through in your guitars! I love my 60 Custom Sunburst; it has not disappointed me in any way. Next Wednesday it is going for an 'outing' where I shall be playing a handful of Ventures tunes on it. In anticipation I'm already enjoying the looks on some of the players' faces when I produce my H60C and do a few sound checks

Thank you for the most interesting info …and especially that about Nokie’s choice of neck measurements!!! Perhaps 1+58 (at the zero fret) is even suitable for Don Wilson’s rhythm playing style .
Now I need to go and check the Wilson Bros. Guitar neck measurements…

This guitar was produced after the first two Hallmark Nokie models. Nokie said the first two looked too much like a Mosrite. I thought thats what his fans would appreciate so originally the 60 Custom was intended to be the Nokie Edwards model........something all Nokie fans would be able to afford that he would play. I don't know how many Hitchikers he has sold at $3500.00 plus but I doubt it has been many.

But, Nokie wanted the Hitchiker headstock, diamond neck plate, our 67 pickups ala Swept-Wing, and Stradette, Strat output jack etc. He also did not want the carve to be like a Mosrite exactly so this is what we came up with on the fly for him just to be a bit different.

He liked it very much, however the buisiness end was never finalized. So, we put the 60 Custom to work instead. I think our customers will agree, the 60 Custom is the guitar for them. It's hard to figure out why Nokie likes his Hitchiker better than the 60 Custom, but to each his own. It is an interesting guitar, but a bit bizzare.

Hello all of you Surf Gremmies out there!

Wanted to let you all know we have a new color coming in a few weeks that I spent a good bit of time on I call "Surf Pearl". It is a white pearl that will burst into a trans aqua, then to a surf water blue edge.

So clean out the woodie and get your board waxed up!

Don't be a weirdo and get one while you can as these are limited!

Is that the color that you showed me a sample of a couple of weeks ago? VERY nice!

Bob, I have to warn you here, as a friend: If you keep offering very cool items to guitar players at prices they can afford and at a quality level like you have been doing, you are going to end up being of them Typhoons.

Now, that might sound like a worthy goal, but just take a look at Tiger Woods lately and see if you want to go through all that kind of drama.
