New guy from Montreal

Postby Frenchy » Sat Dec 12, 2009 10:32 am

Hi all!

Name is Pierre, I'm a French Canadian as you can see by the name... I am a long time Bass player, playing 30+... To tell the truth, I do not know much about Mosrite instruments apart from the Ventures. As a hobby, I collect Japan made instruments. A resent purchase lead me to this board, I just aquired a copy of a Mosrite Combo guitar and a nice one I have to say :D ... I will be posting her in the "Clone" section shortly. I am here to ask for your help as to determine the origins. I, and friends of mine find it to be an amazing player...

I've been reading lots on the boards to educate me on the subject. Great info here...

Happy to have found this board.

Regards,

Pierre

Bienvenue, Pierre, and welcome to the forum! I went to school in Montreal in the mid 90s. There were a few instrumental bands around town at the time, inspired by the Ventures, surf bands, and local Ye-Ye Guitare kings Les Jaguars.

Welcome Pierre, What I want to know is, what do you put on your french fries? Depends on where
you go in Canada, it's something different.
