Welcome to the forum, I agree Mosrite's are the best looking guitar ever made.
I remember when I was 18 and wanted a Mosrite ( Boy was that a long long time ago...)
But the recognition of Mosrite's is still the same now as it was in the 60's.

Thanks! =)

Yeah it's nice to find someone else in your own age who are into mosrites.

I'm listening to all kinds of things really. All sorts of genres. I don't really know what I like in the songs I like, but I know when it's there. ;)

I checked XTC out. They seem to have good songs!

Take care!

That's nice to hear! :)

Yeah, to me there's just no other guitar out there that makes me feel that special unexplainable feeling when you play it.

Cheers!

Welcome to the forum! I wish this website was around when I was 18, I would have probably bought a mosrite a lot sooner then I did. 8-)

Speaking of things Swedish, I've got Hagstrom II from the 60's that I just love. Its in excellent++ shape and has the legendary fast neck and intermittant switches.

The fastest neck that I have EVER seen on a guitar was on a Hagstrom, with the back covered in red vinyl, that a guy gave me in college.

I ruined the guitar by trying to remove the plastic to varnish the wood under it, which was really ugly.

But that guitar really had a slim, fast neck on it.

Several times I have almost bought one of the Hagstrom vintage basses, which have such a great retro look to the controls and such.

Thanks everyone! :)

Yeah I have also grown fond of some vintage Hagstrom guitars.
Some look very cool. But I've never actually held one with that legendary fast neck.
Only the new reproduction Swedes which I think did not feel that fast.

Didn't rhythm guitarist Bo Starander (stage name Bob Lander) of THE SPOTNICKS have a Hagstrom in the sixties? It looked like a Les Paul, right? He put out some pretty neat rhythm parts with it on the Spotnicks' recordings :geek:
I don't think this famous Swedish group ever played on Mosrites...too bad.

It would make a lot of sense. Yep. The "Swede" models all look somewhat like a LP.
I know of the Spotnicks too. :) And as you said, it's a shame they never used them. I'd love them spreading the Mosrite brand even more.
And I think it would fit nicely into their sound.

The Hellacopters lead singer Nicke Andersson use Mosrites from time to time though. :)

Hey, thanks for the vids. They sound great! Love the white Mosrite, also.
