JFYI, I'm getting these photo's from a disc of photo's I have saved over the years. Unfortunatley I didn't get chance to save them all. I had about three hundred more pictures of early Jazzmaster's, Duo Sonic's and tweed amps that was lost.
My '63 didn't make it on that batch. From what I've read, there were only 20 to 30 of these
that were made with the convex cut. Because of the costs and time consumption to make the guitar
this way, they started using the concave cut which was less time consuming, and helped cut the
cost of making these beauties.
