hey all,

i'm sure by now you all have heard about the flooding in Nashville. just so you know I'm okay. all day yesterday my day was spent taking pictures of all the wreckage. It reminded me a lot of Katrina. The local news stations even were in danger to run their program from the danger of the water cresting to their building.

I got a ton of pictures, I'll post when i get home next week. I just hope Andy, and all our friends here on the forum in Nashville is okay. The people in middle Tennessee really needs a lot of help from anyone that can help out, so I'm just throwing that out there.

Take care, everyone.
Cheers,
Aaron

hey guys,

all is good with me, but my heart goes out to the people on Tennessee. It's nothing like Virginia, the people here are some of the nicest people I've met in my life. I been staying in Pigeon Forge, a touristy town at the great smokey mountains, it's a lot of fun here, but not the same as Nashville. Tomorrow I'll be heading back home, really didn't get to do anything I wanted to do in Nashville, but I will probably be back next year.
By the way, if anyone ever is in my area, Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, you should really take time to check out a place called "Music Outlet" on route 60, right out side of I-40. It's a great music store. I found all kinds of out guitars, lots of old greteshs too (Sarah would flip ;) no mosrites, but just about everything else you could think of. I hope to go there again before heading home tomorrow, and taking some pictures.
Cheers,
Aaron

Drive safely, Aaron! I'm looking forward to seeing the pictures. I've been to Pigeon Forge and it is a fun place. "The Miracle Mile" I think they call it. I remember having a blast in this huge wave pool and then this place that simulated sky diving. That was a trip!
