Thanks guys, the color is extremely difficult to catch, I'm sure Oigun will agree.
PG-wise I was always heck bent on getting a real nice brown tort and I probably still might, but a sheet of bakeliet (help me out here Veenture!), bakelite... either way; the stuff they used to build them old phones with, arrived at Oiguns yesterday.

Hey, Olav--

The Bakelite pickguard should look great!

Another material you could consider is whatever that dull black stuff is that they used on the 1951-Reissue Fender Precision basses. It is some sort of compressed fiber material; don't know what the real name for it is.

I like it.

Looking nicer and nicer :-) I'm sure you're going to need lights for the final photo's .. hehe .. That finish is going to be changing color with whatever color it is next to :-)
