Playing too low was making my arm go numb, which can't be a good thing. Ah yes, it's a fine line between fashionable and functional! It's funny, I saw the Dropkicks on the wall. I saw them at The Rat here in Boston waaaaay back, who'd a thunk they'd get so big?

Ah, you've introduced a new variable. Not only does the length of one's strap come into play, but the height of one's pants.

Shades of Pee Wee Herman!

Ever noticed how Nokie Edwards wears his axe practically right under his armpit? I guess the higher you wear your git, the better you play... :D

OK, back to the Wall.

FWIW, Semie told Doug Brewer to wear the guitar high enough until the elbow is bent in a 45 degree angle to get the best control of the guitar. It seems to be a good starting point but it's a little too high to be comfortable for me.

the other issue to contend with is how does the guitar hang if you wear suspenders? the one thing I've noticed lately is my guitar seems to hang even lower when I wear a top hat, but then again maybe it's my imagination ;)

Let's see that Top Hat! Oh, and your hair has to be all in your face so we can't see it. ;)
