Double posting

Postby dubtrub » Tue Jun 08, 2010 8:31 pm

Is anyone else besides me hitting the submit button only to have the little circle go round and round and never stop? If I hit submit again then it will double post. I've started hitting the submit button then after a second I click on the Mosrite logo at the top of the page to exit. This last website upgrade has caused a lot of headache. I'm at a loss.

I noticed this when I signed up today, actually. I hit submit to sign up, then waited forever, then decided to hit it again. Afterward it said my user name was already in use. Then it did the same thing while posting...but I figured if it did that, it must mean my post went through. I checked and sure enough, it did.

The only thing I've noticed is if I write a post and submit it takes a very long time to load. Perhaps 60 seconds. Other than that thing seem normal.

You're right Sarah. I just timed it and it takes a full 60 seconds. However it is actually posting as soon as you hit the submit button if you click on the logo to exit out. Gotta figure out how to adjust the posting parameters.

Same experience here. I've had to delete one or two posts myself...and just in time too :?

Yep, the endless circle, but if I open it up in a new window I see that it has posted. I was having the same thing happen with PM as well.

I just had this problem while replying to the Hallmark Sheena thread. I didn't click the reply button twice though as I was aware of the problem.

Edit: I had the problem posting this too but editing was fine.
