this is so cute, but I don't find it surprising. I have a Moluccan Cockatoo, and Peaches dances all the time, usually when I play a guitar. And can keep time. However snowball is much better at it. these animals are really problem solving smart, fun, and loyal. but a ton of work to care for them. a couple years ago i came home from work and found Peaches outside his cage, which is always dangerous because of what they could get into, almost like caring for a baby. So I put him back in his cage, and found peaches out again about an hour later. while eventually I found out what happened, which was difficult to do because he knew not to escape when I was watching. there's three side doors on the cage to that is used to gain access to food and water bowls. I would typically put him back in the cage at night for bedtime and feed him, well he watched me how to open these side doors, and learned how to escape. But the kicker is, not only did he knew to open the door to escape, he knew to close the freakin door behind him to cover his tracks! so you can imagine my disbelief. once I figured out what he was doing I tired taping the door shut, that didn't work, next I tried heavy duty wire, he took care of that problem quickly too, the only thing that worked was actually putting a freakin pad lock on them. so far it's held up, but I'm waiting for the day where he makes a string to toss across the room to get the key, lol.
Cheers,
Aaron

Incredible stuff Dennis and Oipunkguy (nice story Aaron!). In the first vid I was thinking "naw, the right tempo music was added afterwards". I had a neighbor once who had one of those green dwarf parrots and the high level of intelligent communication between the two was almost beyond belief. His parrot was even jealous of his wife, for goodness sakes!

Great video Dennis. It is very amazing, actually. Imagine, a cat being awake that long......
