Ok, finally got the flickr thing figured out. Here's a full shot. The pickups are not what's shown in another member's thread here, and also not what's on the Fillmore website. Thoughts?

Those look like p-90's to me. Not bad, but not like Mosrites. The pickups KRamone is selling would be just the ticket. Plenty of pickguards available on ebay and elsewhere too.

They look like P-90's to me too, which is strange because I didn't think they were the same size.
KRamone, what year are your Hallmark pickups from? I had heard from someone that the pickups changed a while back or that they were using the "incorrect" ones in them or some such thing. The pickups in the guitar now sound good, but I want a proper Mosrite-like pickup.

P-90's aren't the same size, but maybe the pickup rings are. My Mosrite pickup rings are about 4" x 1 7/8", and the pickups themselves are about 3" x 1 1/2". Those have definitely been replaced, unless Mosrite of Classics actually came with p-90's? I don't think so.

I suspect they've been replaced but there are a few things that make me wonder. One is that the guitar was hardly played. The pick guard warping was allegedly due to being left in a house with the A/C broken in summer (which in the state of Georgia in US means mucho humidity). The Ventures logo on the pick guard is actually on the plastic film and will peel off.
I'm considering replacement guard options; there are the $36 eBay ones, pickguardian, and one or two other options suggested at the SG101 forum. As far as pickups, KRamone's Hallmark pups are attractive, and I just discovered that Seymour Duncan actually makes Mosrite pups too.
