Another update i made the pickup today.
This is the Alu mould I've made and the wooden block to pusch the ABS into it.I've used my drillpress as a press.
Image
Heated and pressed it looked like this:
Image
The ring I casted out of polyester with some bone-black for pigment.
Image
Made the bobbin out of some clear and a piece of maple.
Image
Her's the bobbin on my trusted sewing machiene winding appliance-thing
Image
After 10000 revs I was satisfied. (8.01K) Not to hot because the bassman-amp of Saf dont like it...
Image
Put in the polepieces and magnets and epoxied it in
Image
Tested and it works!

Incredible! When I see these builds going on here, I almost feel a little guilty of always having bought complete and ready-to-play guitars
oigun, you're a master :geek:

The specs are 42AWG wire, alnico5 bar magnets, the screws are standard iron screws from the hardware store. The core is maple.

For a future project I just made this:

I wonder how that will look in red perloid.....

Because the spacing of the polepieces wat a bit off I made a new cover and corrected that Now it follows the stringspacing.
