Just making the rounds with my intro post.
My name's David and I play guitar in the instro horror surf band, The Phantomatics.
My main guitar right now is an AVRI Jazzmaster, but hopefully my new(to me) Mosrite Excellent will be arriving this week.
I've lurked the boards before, but thought it might be time to join.
Now I just need to learn all the tricks for working with a Mosrite.
Anyways, if you're interested you can check out my band on our myspace(www.myspace.com/thephantomatics) or by searching for us on facebook.
Thanks for looking,
David Phantomatic

Welcome to the forum. Your song sounds great. Are there any others? Are there any with lyrics?

Re: First Post
Thanks for the welcome guys.
And I'm glad you all dig that song, yes, there are more songs that are going to be on our upcoming EP titled, "The Phantomatics in 'She Left Her Brain at the Drive-In'"
We're currently working on getting all the tracks mixed and mastered, the one on our myspace is an unmixed or mastered version, so once the tracks are done we'll definitely have more up.
We're also going into the studio this Sunday to record a last minute addition to the EP, it's a new track called "Hearse Surfing."
I've got to say that's one of the best songs we've written and if you'd like to listen to it now, you can check it out here http://www.woai.com/entertainment/story ... D5p-g.cspx
Anyways, thanks for the welcome, I can already tell I'm going to get a ton of useful information here.
