New Custom Mosrites!
Hey everyone, check out mosrite.us website. I know they are making custom Mosrites again, true to the original specs.

Welcome to the forum, whatslukeupto.
We have discussed that website quite a bit here and I'm waiting for some of the rich forum members to order one so we can see one for ourselves.
Who's gonna take the plunge?

I've actually recieved an email from them today in response to a parts request I sent and they will sell parts btw. I also asked what the prices were and they told me email them my spec and they would quote me a price. Kevin

This is the response I got from the email.
Hello Kevin,
Thanks for your interest in Mosrite. We are happy to help you restore
your old guitar, and build you a new custom Mosrite. Regarding the parts,
send us a list of what you need, with pictures if you can, and we will be
happy to supply you with them. We can tell you all the costs of the parts
after we find out what you need. Regarding your custom Mosrite, after you
place your order, we will tell you the cost of the guitar. You can then
choose to continue with your purchase.
Best Regards
Client Administration Department.

...................now this is a heck of a way to do business.

I'd have to say. Could you maybe narrow it down a little and tell me if my custom order would be closer to $2000 or $20,000 before I waste yours or my time?

I wouldn't get my hopes up on this company bringing Mosrite back. I don't know anyone that does business that way.

I hear ya, most places would present a stock model and give you a set price plus different upgrades or down grades and go from there.

Re: New Custom Mosrites!
I'd order a guitar from EFElliot if I wanted a custom Mosrite. It may not say Mosrite but I'm sure it would be closer to the originals than whatever this company is offering.
