Nice to find a Mosrite forum. Being a fan of the Ventures, the Ramones, the B52's got me started to be interested in these unusual instruments. I looked for 20 years and never even saw one. My brother sent me a Ventures II from Arizona in 1999 and I did my first restoration project. Then a friend called to tell me that Guitar Center just put a 2 pickup Bass on the Vintage wall, I paid either $500 or $800 for it, can't remember. Restored that too because it was ugly. Sent the pickguard off to a Music producer that I knew in California that was recording a record for the Ventures. They all signed it for me and sent it back, which was pretty cool.

Welcome, Kip - I've seen your restos from over at the ReRanch site - great jobs on those - particularly like the Sonic Blue - I guess your first. Enjoy the forum.

Re: Kip
Welcome to the forum, Kip. I also became interested in Mosrite guitars because of The B-52's.

Hi Kip;
I'd love to see your guitars too!
A bit off topic, but it's on my mind.... Have you ever had kipper snacks? I had them once. They were in a tin like sardines. That was around 1983. I didn't care for them.
