I hope so! my problem is I'm stuck in a mindset where I need a low noise floor going into and out of my amp (or any amp I use). I don't really have space for multiple guitars
for different sounds but If I had a mosrite, I'd want to gig it, and I feel like I can trust 'buckers more.

I'm already thinking about putting some 4 conductor bareknuckle pickups into an ...of classics mkIV and using coil taps. maybe even a fender TBX style tone control. who knows.
maybe get a spare pickguard routed to do it, and get new electronics. I;m thinking aloud... probably in the wrong forum...

Hi Rob, first of all, welcome to the Mosrite Forum. There are a number of members with Mo's that have humbuckers on their guitars, some with factory h'buckers, some not.
I myself have Mo' H'buckers on most of mine, so there 's no right or wrong with wanting them, only if they are in a Mosrite in which the humbuckers were not available during
that guitar's era (i.e. 60s). But if you are keeping that guitar as a 'player,' then it does not matter. I too play many different styles of music in which about 55% of the tunes that
I play require a distortion/fuzz/overdrive type of effect not including chorus, delay, reverb, etc. I also need low noise for going into and out (FX loop) of my amp too, so as the
saying goes, I feel your pain. So don't feel bad or guilty for wanting a Mosrite with humbuckers and a stop tailpiece. I believe you would probably like that particular guitar model
in which depending on the feel of the neck, it's basically the same set up as your Les Paul. And as you mentioned, you could always change out the p'ups for the Bareknuckle Pickups.

The Single Coil p'ups are OK with the Fuzz/Overdrive/Distortion.....just don't stop playing with the FX still on for you will hear a group of screaming banshee's coming after you from
your speaker cabinet(s) . Humbuckers work much better if you are having to deal with the overdrive thing. Not only do these 'cancel' the hum, you will have much better control
over the banshee's . Rob, take your time in whatever you decide, you will be a lot happier that you did...... .
