Satch Axes!!! :o

don't you just wanna break out a black magic marker and draw zig zags and bones all over 'em.

I think Dennis makes a good point about the reversed tones in black and white looking metallic.
I like the blue-green T-shirt idea. A nice color photo of the guitar would work on a blue-green/teal T-shirt. Good color separation that way by contrasting the warm colors of the guitar over the cool muted color of the shirt, and the black part of the burst on the edges won't disappear into the shirt.

MWaldorf wrote:Hey guys, glad you like my logo idea. The colors and the circle "M" are only what they are because that is what I could find to put together quickly in MS Paint. If we want to go with this logo, we could change the colors to be more suitable to whatever color shirt we want. The MBP shirts are three color (white, black and gold) on a blue shirt. So, with that in mind, here's another HACK attempt at the logo, this time greyscale on a black background. If we decide this is something we want to go with, I can ask Karen from the band (a graphic designer by day) if she can clean up the design and make it t-shirt ready, and get some price quotes.

That logo right there would look great as a sticker. My old band used to get our stickers for a great price. We got 500 vinyl stickers for $25.00. Kevin

Come on now, shouldn't the design be a doubleneck?

....it could be....actually that's a possibility as well...... none of these posts you see are etched
in stone...these are just ideas that members are coming up with, and "tossing into the ring."
But that's a good suggestion, being that the first Mosrite Instrument played by a Professional
was a Doubleneck........and if that be the "winning ticket," maybe we could use the artwork
off the front of the Booneville Factory, which has a pic of "the Ventures Model" on one side,
and the "Joe Maphis Model" Doubleneck on the other side. And in between the 2 guitars,
we could have it say: http://www.mosriteforum.com. ;)
make the Mos' of it, choose the 'rite stuff.

ANYONE else that wishes to chime in with an idea or two?? Come on, don't be shy!!

Because as of this moment, pardon my Irish/Italian language, but this is a 'piss/poor turnout' as far
as the voting has gone. We have 113 members on this Board......and 17 have voted....17.
As of right now, there's not enough interest for us to follow through and try to make this happen.
But I'll guarantee you this, if we were to get these made for even only 17 of us, I'm sure I'd see folks
come out of the woods and cry wandering how come there were not more shirts made. Because I've
seen it happen....on other forums....but hey Folks, it's TOTALLY up to you if you would like to have
a shirt to represent your Forum or not.........it rests on you............DtM.
make the Mos' of it, choose the 'rite stuff.

I reckon MWaldorf's design is killer.I'd have a couple of those in an instant.

Has there been any further response to the poll? I've noticed overall posts have begun to dwindle. Let me know if this idea gets off the ground - I would definitely be interested in a couple (at least).

Dennis, not really  It started off REAL STRONG with all kinds of enthusiasm, then
started coasting downhill from there.....don't know what to make of it, other than the
majority had 'second thoughts?'

I'm still down with the idea of some forum shirts I'd wear em in a heartbeat.
