I got news today that Mark Sheehan passed away suddenly on October 1st of this year. Mark was a huge Mosrite fan and played in several bands including Out Cold(Boston hard core band) and Bad Chopper with CJ Ramone, he also played with the late GG Allin. I only knew Mark from phone converstions, we shared the same interests in our favorite guitars, and guitar player, Johnny Ramone. Mark had several Mosrites over the years, including a Semie madfe Ramones Model. He will be missed.

Yep, that is somewhat old news. Sorry to hear you got it so late. Lots of the WMBR DJs were playing songs for him that week.

Re: RIP Mark Sheehan
Yes, Mark was a close friend of mine.
We spoke over the phone regularly, and especially toward the end of his life. He wanted us to record a new record together and was in the process of sending me tapes to listen to of his new songs.
Needless to say I was floored when I got the call from his sister in law about his untimely death. Mark was giving, funny, and easy going. He was a Mosrite enthusiest, mostly regarding the guitars that Johnny Ramone used. However he would collect any of them if he liked it. He had a very nice collection of them.
I remember one time Markwas down visiting me years ago, and and he, me and John Lackey were sitting around eating Mosrite Ventures model candy bars and laughing our heads off making jokes. Mark found pleasure in the simplest things.
If anyone wants to see Mark play, there are video's of him in the punk band Bad Chopper on you tube.
I miss you Mark, RIP

Re: RIP Mark Sheehan

I've seen a few different videos of him playing. And he always played really well and always slung a real cool guitar.
