I haven't been thinking at all about the neck binding actually. Hehe. Very open to suggestions. Whatever might look good with an ebony fretboard.

The guard is the the one thing I have heaps of trouble deciding upon. I have a few ideas in mind. Thinking about tortoise. But I'm embarrassingly picky with those!

If it looks too bright/red, it's just not for me. Nothing brighter/more reddish-brown than this:

Talk to Oigun about options in tort. He has a source for NOS tort I believe. I need some for my LP Jr, so we might be able combine shipping.

My thoughts exactly. If Oi can find some that is dark enough, I think tort might just be the way to go!

The dark tortoise is hard to find... unless you want the really awfull photo stuff...

I would suggest contacting Stewart-MacDonald directly and ask them if they have sheets that are darker than average.
