Eastwood Mach II

Postby paulramon1962 » Wed Jun 01, 2011 9:42 pm

Hey everyone

I've been looking at various Mosrite copies and since I'm not finding a whole lot in my price range, I saw the Eastwood Mach II. I've been looking at Mark I or Mark V copies, but this one looks pretty good. Anyone try it out? Positives? Minuses?

thanks

-Marc

Not bad looking at all...you may also want to have a matching hard shell case for her...that means extra pecunia's :?

The Hallmark Johnny Ramone Signature comes @ $899 and includes a fine hard shell case ;)

I've never played one of these. I've read mixed reviews at Harmony Central (http://www.harmonycentral.com/products/103400) But I doubt most if any of the people reviewing the guitar played an official reissue so they can't compare it. Personally, I would save up for a Hallmark but that's partially because I'm not fond of one of Eastwood's other Mosrite copies (The Hi Flyer which is nothing like a Ventures model except the general body and headstock shapes) It left a bad taste in my mouth as far as their Mosrite inspired guitars go.

I'm sold. It sounds good and looks so freakin cool.

I'm saving for one of them :)

IMO a wise decision. Oh, and did I mention that the *Hallmark comes much closer to the real deal than Eastwood?! (compare headstock's "M" carves)
