Thanks! It's actually just a Fender '52 reissue but It's a really nice one,only weighs 6.2 lbs. It's a 2002 that I bought used.

I've always wanted a Tele too, one like yours but then with a white pickguard...mebby someday :roll:

Then it wouldn't be a '52 but a '55 or later.

You're right...more towards a late 50's / early 60's feature.

I used to have a "Roadworn" tele like that.

"Roadworn." Now that's a modern euphemism if I've ever heard one... It's important to remember that all that use simply adds to the tonality of the wood...old guit's always sound the best! :!:

I agree, I have a Les Paul I bought used. It has lots of authentic "road wear" The original owner is a well know local musician/recording engineer and it was one of his main axes for 15 years. It is just a 1959 reissue but it look pretty good. Here is a photo of my R9(left) and a real 1959 Les Paul
