Wo!! Now let's get Serious  ......ADAM, is this guitar possibly the "Buckaroo by Moseley" that
Deke had mentioned a while back? Is this the guitar that Semie was trying to win Don over with while
he was still playing the Fender line? One more thing, the headstock is very similar to the Dave Myers
"Flame" aka "Cresting Wave" guitar.......????
make the Mos' of it, choose the 'rite stuff.

Wireless? What got me laughing was how Buck and Don managed to set their guitars on 'auto pilot' or 'cruise control' around 1:32.
They both had stopped playing while you still heard the guitars just strummin' away. Sound 'corny?' Well, look again at the show..... .

You be right! Which proves that the video is being lip-synced since in the real studio recording the guitarist kept playing low-level rythm during the vocals but probably forgot to replicate the recording session and just tapped the guitar in the video to keep the beat.

You have darn good hearing! :o

It's apparent that they were lip-synching in that clip--very common for TV appearances. My point is that Don could have used that guitar to record the track, as the guitar tone isn't typical of the bright Tele tone heard on most Buck Owens records.

jfine is right! don's track sounds more like a mosrite, than a tele.I have heard of these guitar before, but never seen one in person. I think Merle had one too. It's hard to tell, but the binding is real wide on these, about 3/4''.
