1969 Auction program

Hi guys & gals,

Some years back ( on Ebay ) someone had a copy of the 1969 auction program up for sale.
NO, I didn't win it but I saved the photos that were posted and if I could credit them to someone I would.
Anyway, for your viewing pleasure ( and because I couldn't find another post that showed one ) here is a snapshot of what got sold at the time!

The funny thing is that I have read that the auction was on Valentines day - but this shows April 1, not Feb 14 ???????

The other thing is that there is no listing for cars ( as I have heard that all Semies personal items went under the hammer also )

I don't know when the auction actually took place, but the date could have been changed after the flyer was printed.

I do see a zero fret, it's right next to the string guide. I grant you that the string guide does look like a nut in the picture.
The auction program allows some insight into what equipment and tools Semie used in the manufacture of his instruments, thanks for sharing, murphman.

Thanks for the pos. comments, I don't have much stuff but what I do I'll post.
I have some flyers etc... and some invoices from the Jonas Ridge era so I'll scan & post them soon.

So now, if someone wants to step into Semie's shoes ( circa 1969 ) you know how much plant to invest in! ( and just what went into those beloved axes ) not so "handmade" after all!!

Dan, if I remember correctly, I believe they had shut the doors and put the
padlocks on them on 2-14. The actual auction took place about 6 weeks later.....
