My collection on the day before 2 were sent away

Postby GTSP » Wed Feb 08, 2012 3:10 pm

So I unloaded my blue Hallmark & my Celebrity I. I figured I'd take some pics of all of my guitars before the collection gets broken up. Enjoy:

Dang, Jayson; that's quite a collection! I particularly like that black 1988 one with the white pickup covers.

Nice! My "wall" of Mosrite has changed a bit since my last group shot. I did something really silly. Sold a white '65 MKI reissue and um, bought the same thing a few months later. Hey, at least the one I bought was a good $900 less than what I got for the one I sold.

Jayson, you have a wonderful collection. It is great having you share it with us. I like the blue burst Moserite of USA as blue is my favorite color of guitar. Sorry to hear 2 are saying bye-bye but it is all in the sharing of the phenomena that Semie started years ago.

A super collection, Jayson. You must be having mixed feelings splitting them up.
Very nice pictures too!

Jayson, that is a really nice well-rounded collection of Mosrites. And like others here, that blueburst is a fetching eyecatcher.
I'm sure you've been able to plug in and compare them, and if you don't mind answering, tonally, how much difference do you hear between a Mark 1 Ventures, a Celebrity and a Combo? What kind of difference do you hear between, say, the "modern" blueburst and the V88? Do you tend to play differently when playing the Combo as compared to the Mark 1 or Celebrity. I find with my own guitars there is a leaning one way or another, and was wondering how this would apply to the differences amongst Mosrites.
