Danny, try ezscreenprint for a simple screenprinting system. Jim, most screenprinters require right reading, emulsion side up, film positives to burn their screens.

Graphics and printing is out of my league. I'm having a hard enough time trying to teach myself electronics. Just spent the last three hours going over the layout and comparing with the schematics in order to make up a parts list. Man, this stuff is mind boggling. I'll leave the art work to someone else.

My best friend and former band mate, going back to junior high days, builds amps. His latest was a 5E3, I believe he said, and he put it in an old Crosley radio wooden enclosure. The eight-inch speaker fit nicely in the cathedral hump part and he built this as his bedroom guitar amp.

Or, at least, that was his plan until his teenaged son snagged it for his room!

Mr. Bill, can you check the value of the cap on the board from pin 7 of the rectifier tube, both schematics and layout shows a .1-200 capacitor. I'm guessing it's an error on both schem & layout and should be a 0.1uF as are the other two off pin 6 & 1. Can you verify and recommend a alternate?

I guess I don't understand what you are asking here. I think that you are talking about the driver or phase inverter tube that drives the output tubes. There is no rectifier tube in this version.

The cap you are refering to is part of the negative feedback circuit and is normally a 0.1uF at 200 volts. I will open up my amp and confirm this, but that is the normal value for this part in almost all Fender amps.

If you can rephrase your question I will try and give you a better answer.

You are correct. Phase inverter not rectifier tube. I've been studying this stuff so much the last couple of days trying to translate 1962 values with all them zero's to current marked capacitors, my head is swimming. Please don't go to the trouble of opening up your amp.

Mr. Bill, referencing the two .25 capacitors on the right end of the main circuit board to the bass pot, will .22 caps work there as I was unable to obtain those two caps with .25 value?
