In the new Vintage Guitar magazine, Dan Forte has a nice little article covering the history and recordings of the Ventures.
What I thought was most interesting was the photo with the Ventures playing Mosrites with large logos printed on the pickguards and the backline of amps including two that look like the one that was discussed here a few years ago as being possibly a Dumble built amp. Anyone here ever seen that photo before, and are there any more?

Bill,
What's on the cover? I just looked and could only find the May issue with no Ventures article to be found...

Sorry, it's the June 2012 issue. There are a bunch of Korinna Ibanez lawsuit guitars on the cover, a V, Explorer and Moderne.
