Backing tracks?

Do any of you know of an online backing track website that offers some good blues backing to jam with? I use to use the Guitar Center backing track website but the took it down and won't have a new one for a while.

Speaking of Guitar Center, have you guy's seen the '07 winner of the blues guitar contest? You need to watch the entire video to see all his talent especially when he goes solo on the last set.

I think it would be great to have a section here on the forum dedicated to backing tracks. I have a Ventures back track CD that Vincent sent to me that I've Used a gazillion times. I wish I knew how to download it to a hosting site so that you all may access it to play along with. If anyone knows how to do this let me know.

I wrote some time ago about this Göran Tångring's The Shadows backing tracks page: http://goran.tangring.com/ There's a couple of blues backing tracks... and lots and lots of backing tracks for The Shadows, and some other instro music as well. Give it a try!

I do have that link saved in my favorites and use it occasionally. I was hoping others here on the forum would have a link to their favorite genre of music as well as some more dedicated blues backing tracks. But, apparently not.

My forum friend (nickname; Lightning hand) and I (nickname; Desert Surfer, of cource) have run a Surf Guitar Clinic on our Taiwanese Guitar Forum to teach young kids in Taiwan to play surf guitar tunes (The Ventures instrumentals). It was a big success. They just love it! Here is one of the tunes; Diamond Head The backing track was arranged and created by "Lightning hand"
